Most people want their pets to be healthy. Natural Pet Health seems to be a growing trend. Many people are curious about Natural Pet Health options such as diet, alternative health care, etc.

It seems that natural pet health is a fresh “idea” for many. Consumers are realizing that feeding natural foods and treats are among the best things we can do for the health of our pets. Food manufacturers are realizing this and are stepping up to the plate.

Dogs and cats are omnivores by nature, that means they would enjoy a variety of meat AND veggies. It is not hard to understand that dogs and cats don’t hunt for kibble, but for most of us, offering raw meats and bones is a bit intimidating. We have bought into the concept that kibble is “complete nutrition” – and yet is it really “complete”? Does kibble fill the natural desire to knaw on something? Does it taste as good as the real thing? Ask your pet!

I’ll admit it is simple & easy to dump some kibble in a bowl. I also don’t believe that all kibble is bad. Just as we usually supplement our own diets with meal replacement shakes or bars, and use supplements – I feel that kibble and supplements can play a healthy role in natural pet health. Read the ingredients of any kibble and find one with meat as the FIRST ingredient. Try to find a food that has REAL ingredients – meaning you KNOW what the ingredients are.
